[Hotaru]

"cool. How do the stones work? Do you require a stone mage to activate them? What extent do they heal? Do they have a limit to how much magic is stored in each one?" Hotaru pauses as she takes a break. "Sorry, when i get curious about something I tend to ask more questions then people can answer." Hotaru looks away sheepishly, and begins to watch Hex continue to drag Skye around the ship.

She hears Hotaru speaking to Avalon about the stones and tenses. The mages secrets about the stones and how they work are just that, secrets. Years of having that beat into her, and any other trained mages, made it a habit to never be broken. She wants to say something, but doesn't because she doesn't want to sound rude or arrogant.

[Hotaru]

Noticing the movement out of the corner of her eye, Hotaru realized her mistake. "I apologize. I realize the stone mages have their secrets, since i have some of my own. Please ignore what I said." with that Hotaru got up and left to go look for something to eat.

Hex realized what Hotaru wanted. "Food?" She asked, "What would you like to eat? I'm a halfway decent cook. Do you think that Soles keeps me around simply for my stones?" She laughs, "Come with me, I'll take you down to the kitchen and we will whip something up for the both of us and the kittens. It's nearly their dinner time." She grabbed Hotaru with her free hand, which has a few pieces of confetti stuck to it, and drug her along with Skye into the kitchen before either of them could say a word against it.

Avalon watched the three hurry off to the kitchen bewilder with how the conversation went. Avalon finished her pouch and got up to see what the three ladies were up to.

[Hotaru]

In the kitchen, Hotaru watched Hex as she moved through the kitchen. The girl was beyond decent, she seemed as if she was at home in the kitchen. Looking around, Hotaru noticed that the amount of cats had increased since she, Skye, and Hex had entered the kitchen. It was eerie to her how they stared at them with a mixture of what seemed like amusment and intelligence.

Avalon stepped into the kitchen and looked around the room in horror. Cats everywhere! The sneezing began and wouldn't not stop. She was allergic to cats.

Morrigan came flying through the kitchen, covered in cats...and bloody scratches. "I've never been so happy!" She vanished through the opposite door.

Armed with her handkerchief, Avalon quickly followed Morrigan though the opposite door. Those scratches weren't going to heal themselves. >_>

Morrigan was laying face down on the bedroom floor in a small pool of blood. Several cats sat atop of her, purring happily.

Avalon stopped at the open door and knocked softly then entered at the sound of soft mewing. She was alarmed at the scene she found.
"Um Morrigan, if these cats do this to you, why continue to torture yourself with them? I can't be there to heal you forever." Avalon shooed the small animals off of the women sneezing in the process. She began working her magic in complete silence.
