I kind of promised to say this here and forgot that promise, mostly because it was thoroughly explained by Demosa (many thanks). Rather late but someone should find this useful for next year.
Anyways, Skies of Olrandia takes place 1000 years after the events of Swords of Orlandia. Sense then many advancements have been made making the current Orlandia take on a Victorian-Steampunk air.
The clothing is very similar to that of the Victorian age and the technology is fairly modern, only powered by steam rather then electricity.
