As I promised, the first steps of fate in the new world shall unfold.
Destiny's Crossroad is an inn that is a week or two worth of travel away from Orlandia (Depending on how badly you want to reach Orlandia). It sits at the base of a mountain near a mountain pass with a large tree overshadowing the inn from the mountain. The tree is known as the Tree of Destiny and legend says that if you make a wish under it, your wish will come true. While the legend might be just superstition, many travel to see it making Destiny's Crossroad one of the best inns in the world to meet meet people and get news from all over the world. The tree's size suggests that it has stood for thousands of years, and it's presence has saved the inn below it from avalanches on two occasions. Weather you actually believe the legends of the tree or are just passing through, Make sure you catch some Z's at one of the worlds top rated inns.
The inn has a wide variety of rooms, several natural hot springs said to promote good health, a casino (with everything but the slots), and souvenirs that are said to bring good luck to their owners. Remember that none of these superstitions are backed up with facts so it is your opinion on weather they are true.

Leonardo, covered with a cloak under the cover of night, approached the inn Destiny's Crossroad. He looked over his shoulder as if expecting someone to be their but his companions would be another minute or two. Leo only ran ahead because he wanted to run, using 'scouting ahead for dangers' as an excuse. They had already sent word ahead arranging rooms for everyone in the guild. He walked over to the entrance and looked up at the Tree of Destiny. It looked larger in life then even the exaggerated claims that where short of it being a mountain. Leo twirled a coin between his fingers trying to decide weather to wait here or go inside.

(a bit out of character for a moment, but its whether not weather.)
*Colonel Collins walks into the inn and sits down at the bar*
Barkeep, can I get a pint?

A termite walks into the bar and asks "Is the bar tender here?"
anyways, seriously though. Leo enters the inn as he notices one of the bar maids wave him in and he sits at a table near the fireplace and orders himself some appetizers to hold him till the others arrived, watching the door as he nibbled on bread.
The bartender sets down the glass he was drying of and fills it to the top, sliding it to in front of Collins without a word.

"Thanks barkeep!" looks over and sees Leo sneak in and have a seat. "HEY LEO!" the colonel gets up from the bar and walks over to leo and plops down to strike up a conversation. "Leo, my boy, how is life treating you? I haven't seen you since that contract job the guild and I took a few years back."

Haffelt walks in casually, noting the many suspicious eyes throughout.
He goes up to the bar and says, "Ale. One tankard, please."

The barkeep gets Haffelt a tankard of ale without a word and then goes back to drying more glasses.
Leo looks Collins up and down and says "I've been going fine. Could be worse, could be better. What brings you to this neck of the woods? Here to make a wish?"

"There is no wish that wouldn't ruin my business. Course I could use a wife... no number one and my desk sergeant are enough for that. Just like to come around on occasions and have me a pint or two and chat about things. You comin' back from a job?" Collins takes a sip of his pint and pull his beret off and puts it on his chair back.

Leo looked away from Collins to watch the door again. "No, just taking a rest stop on the way to Orlandia. I need some parts their to fix one of the functions on my battle GEAR."

"Sounds like loads of fun. Orlandia is always one of the best places to go for parts and the what not. Might have to venture up there myself and get a few things. Last contract was rubbish. Blimey idiots didn't let us do our jobs, went off to do their own thing, and almost bought the farm. After wards they tried to cut the price in half. Had to remind them who saved their stupid hides after their dumb move. Nothing a good bit of explosives couldn't fix." Collins takes another sip of his pint looks over towards the bar and sees Haffelt sitting at the bar. "Ain't that one of your boys?" Collins asks Leonardo.

Haffelt hands some coins to the bartender ((What, you thought he was going to steal it?)) and drinks.
He notices the hands of most people in the tavern: patrons, the bartender, the wenches ((there are wenches, right?)) and makes a quick mental note: "Watch that guy in the corner. He looks suspicious."

(Actually, I was keeping tab. The barkeep would have came down on you if you tried to leave without paying. XD And I prefer 'bar maids' but yes there are wenches.)
Leo- "Yes though he's more of a free runner then I am. Didn't expect to see him here though none the less he isn't the one I'm waiting for."

"Didn't ask who you were waiting for Leo. I am not going to pry into your business you know that. Just wondering thought I saw the mark of your guild on em. Anyways so how is Skye Wolfe these days? She doesn't like to answer my letters anymore. She still mad at me for making that pass at her when I was drunk the other month?"

Leo put coins down on the table for his own meal (and not Collins's). "That really would be her place to say but I'm going to go for a quick walk before any of the others arrive." With that Leo headed towards the door, pausing at Haffelt. "Are you heading towards Orlandia?"

"Well that was fun. Always was kinda moody." Collins mumbling to himself and then takes another sip of his pint. He leans back in the chair and kinda stares mindlessly at the ceiling like he is about to fall asleep.
