"sounds unpleasant" Skye mused a small smile forming on her lips. She sat back in her chair and pushed it back onto two legs, balancing while watching Collins. "Must suck to be a hired help, never know what kind of idiots might hire you." she said a grin slowly growing on her face.

"True. As long as the pay is good and the jobs keep coming, I am happy. I am thinking that the OSDF might be come knocking on my door step soon."

She grimaced slightly at the though and knew that the faction would probably want her too, but she wasn't sure where her alligence would lie. It might take some time for her to put the broken pieces of her life back together to know who would help her the most. Her guild had taken her in despite her shortcommings but she knew it was probably only a matter of time. "Well, I guess happiness is important." She agreed quietly, though it didn't sound like she really believed it herself.

When Leo finished his drink, he went to the back and got the room keys. He then went over to the table Skye was at, looked at Collins for a second then held out a room key to Skye.

Skye smiled up at Leo and took the key. "Thank you Leo, you are a dear." She told him as she tucked the key into her pocket.

"and a cold pint in front of a warm fire. Still think you should join up with me guild. You would probably fit in a bit better. Don't get me wrong TC is good stuff, but we do make life feel a bit easier." Says the ragged Colonel, who probably could use a shave, shower, and a new uniform. His brown kilt is a bit tattered, has a button missing, and a couple of stains from who knows what. His jacket seems to be in need of a good wash just like him and his beret would be safe for the same. Only thing clean on this ole sole is his Eagles, his glasses, and his hands. (ya have to wash your hands if you are going to have a sit and a drink after getting nice and dirty)

Skye returned her attention to Collins, frowning slightly at the mention of the beer but shrugged it off, just because SHE didn't like the stuff didn't mean she should stop others from small enjoyments of life. She smiled at the mention of joining his guild, they had many similar conversations about that aspect, he was right that she didn't quite feel at home in the guild, but it could be that she hadn't been there that long, but she didn't know if the mercenaryesque life would suit her either. "I don't think so Collins, we've had this discussion before..." She told him the corner of her lips quirking up into a half smile.

"And yet every time you sling me that little half smile of yours. One day I will convince you. Now shouldn't you be off to bed? From the way Leo was acting looks like you guys got a big thing going on. I probably should try to get some sleep myself after a quick wash." He says smugly as he takes the last swig of his drink.

Leo- "Not that big, though it is getting late. I'm going off to bed. I imagine I'll see you in the morning." With that he walked off and paused at the stairs up to the rooms, looking back out at the wide open road outside before continuing up.

Skye sighed and shook her head as she looked at Collins, her hair rustling around her face at the movement. "You're right that I need sleep, but you should know I ALWAYS sleep alone." She added looking down at him as she stood up. "Enjoy your evening." She told him as she picked up her bag and slung it over one shoulder then walked briskly away from his table without even a second glance. She followed the directions of a barmaid to her room and went inside, shutting the door and locking it behind her. She looked around herself for a moment before going to the bed and sitting down staring down at the key in her hands. With a sigh she placed it on the table next to her and got ready for bed. Curling up in the bed she closed her eyes and went to sleep.

" I never said anything bout you sleeping with someone." Collins yells behind her as she vanishes up the stairs. "I only said it looks like you guys got a big thing going on. Like a mission or something." He mumbles to himself. Collins grumbles and trudges off to his room for a night of weird dreams and a good bath.

(Very good bath! Don't underestimate how pleasant these hot springs are! Also nothing good happens after 2AM and this RP is short-of real time so I guess this is the night, and tomorrow morning is the start of the new day. This ends the first night of destiny!)
