I joined Kerensky's Air Knights when I came of age, 2 years ago. It was the proper thing to do for an heir in an aristocratic household, to protect Orlandia. It was either man the ships or play the housewife.
I wanted to be...an entertainer, and not one of those women who were seen courting around older pilots. Something of a jester, or comedian; I wanted to make people laugh. But, a lady can't find a suitor with just a sense of humor alone and I was never one for lace and frills.
I tended talk circles around my teacher at the institute. His slow and steady way of doing things clashed with my constant need to do things 'now' and 'my way'. Needless to say, my peers preferred me to fly solo as my maneuvering patterns were confusing, haphazard and almost impossible to replicate. It wasn't intentional, I just preferred my style of flying. I came into the army with the name "Miss Cryptic" and it stuck. Hey, whatever it took to keep the Skyrates off of me.
Speaking of Skyrates, I don't hate 'em. I actually admire their dingy ships and vivid detailing jobs. I wanted my 'Crypt' to be suped-up for a while now, but it's frowned upon in the ODSF. But anyways, my best friend lived on the other side of the bridge in my town; the less 'luxurious' side of town. She left 5 years ago to become a Sky Pirate. I hated her for not taking me with her.
So, Miz Cryptic is the label on the tag, Crypt is my ship, and Morrigan or Miz is the name.
