Destiny's Crossroad

[Leonardo]

When Hotaru left Leo asked Skye "Can we go somewhere else to talk? It's not that important if your busy but...... I'd rather no one else heard it."

[skysu]

"Uh, sure Leo" Skye responded with a smile. "Where did you want to talk?" she asked him.

[Leonardo]

"It doesn't matter where. I suppose your room sense it's closest but it won't matter too much if someone over hears so anywhere your comfortable with is fine, just as long as no one is in sight there."

[Leonardo]

(after a 3 day awkward silence)
"On second thought, never mind. I'll tell you at a more appropriate time" With that Leo was gone and out the back door before Skye could respond. He slowly walked through the grove, his footsteps making almost no sound as he said to himself "How can I say something when I'm not even sure what to say. I'm just not cut out for that kind of thing."

[Hotaru]

As Hotaru sat under the tree, staring out into space, she caught a flash of something out of the corner of her eye. Startled, she looked over and saw it was someone walking by, mumbling to his self. "Are you ok?" she calls out, slightly concerned.

[Leonardo]

Leo blinked and looked over at the call. "Oh, Hotaru. I'm fine, just spacing out a little." He walked over to her and added "What are you doing out here?"

[Collins]

"probably trying to get away from the world like everyone else. Anyways I am off for a few days. Don't go killing anyone important with out me Leo. Hotaru, was a pleasure meeting you, here is my card if you feel like joining my guild." Colonel hands Hotaru a card and gets on his bike and flies away.

[Hotaru]

Watching Collins disappear, Hotaru turns to face Leo. "I came out here to practice, but kinda just ended up sitting out here. Its really peaceful and it just gave me some time to think. What about you? You kinda look like you have something on your mind."

[Leonardo]

Leo watched Collins go off and mumbled to himself "I think he just likes showing off his bike sense leaving on it is all he ever seems to do..." With that he sat down and looked to Hotaru "It's just that.... I'm really glad Skye is around and I really appreciate everything she's done and I guess I really should have said that to her by now...... it's just that.... I'm not really sure how to say it and make it clear how much I want her to stick around."

[Hotaru]

"Well that would be a problem. You don't really seem like the type of person who wears their heart on their sleeve, and even if you were, one of the hardest things to say is what we truly feel. All I can say is to look deep inside and just do your best to express how you feel, and just hope that it reaches her." Hotaru sighs. "Sorry if this seems like a bunch of sentimental mumbo jumbo, but its just what I think would help."

[Leonardo]

"This is one of those moments when I wish things where easier done then said. Your a very kind person though. I hope we run into each other more when we go to Orlandia. Do you travel alone or with passing caravans?"

[Hotaru]

"I mostly travel alone. I find its been easier that way. What about you? I think that you mentioned a guild before."

[Leonardo]

"Ya. Even though I usually go where Teres Calamitas does, I usually head to the place of interest a bit ahead of everyone else. I'm usually very keen to detecting ambushes and I can take on most people easily, and then I'm very good at escaping if it should come to that so I'm not to worried about running into danger on the road. But if you travel alone, does that mean your trained in self defense or just confident in your ability to run away?"

[Hotaru]

"I've learned to fight while I was traveling, and I like to think I have a few tricks up my sleeves if anything happens."

[Leonardo]

"Do you know where you'll head after your done here?"
