Destiny's Crossroad

[Leonardo]

The next morning Leo was walking around the outside of the inn and stopped when he wondered over to the Tree of Destiny. He sat down under the shade of tree though where he was at he would be hard to see till you got near the tree. "Grant any wish huh.... I wonder if it could be that simple."

[skysu]

Skye wandered into the bar the next morning humming a little tune to herself as she carried a sack of apples under one arm, she had found a tree a little while from the inn and helped herself to a few apples, they were amazing and wanted to share them with people, good food should not go unapreciated. As she paused inside the door way she looked around quickly to find out if anyone was around who she could share the treat with.

[Hotaru]

Hotaru came downstairs, content with the first decent sleep she'd had in days. Grabbing an empty table, she signals the barmaid over and orders a meal.

[skysu]

Skye's eyes turned towards the movement of someone walking down the stairs, she noticed the dancers grace the moment she saw the other girl. With a smile on her face Skye made her way over to her table. "Hello there, would you care for an apple?" She questioned digging through the sack to draw out another apple, which she offered dramatically to the woman.

[Hotaru]

Hotaru looks up surprised at the sudden actions of the other woman. "Sure." She says with a smile as she takes the apple from the woman. "Mind if I ask who is offering me such a lovely treat this morning?" she says as she offers a seat to the woman.

[skysu]

Skye smiled brightly and took the offered seat "My name is Skye Wulfe" she told the other woman and then turned over her hand to show a small tatoo at the base of her wrist, it was an eye with a rose behind it, it was a symbol that some acting companies used, and was also well known among the gypsies, "Do I spy a sister of the arts?" she questioned with a smile at the corner of her lips giving her a quizical expression.

[Hotaru]

"You have a good eye." Hotaru said, sliding back her sleeve to show a similar tattoo. "Not many can tell from just a look. My names Hotaru."

[skysu]

"Its good to meet you, But when you've been in the theatre I guess it becomes easier to recognize the little things like a dancers gait or an actors presence" She smiled and bit into her apple and closed her eyes in pleasure. "So what are you doing here?" she questioned after she chewed thoughtfully.

[Hotaru]

"Traveling. I usually perform in Orlandia, but decided to explore the world a bit. Someone suggested I stop here on my travels, so here I am, at least until I figure out my next step. What about you? Are you with a troupe, or here on your own?"

[skysu]

Her smile was fleeting but she shrugged off the bad feelings and memories. "I'm with a guild actually, I haven't been with a troupe in two years, so as you could probably guess, I've been a bit starved for dramatic company." She added with a smile that remained on her face this time. "Who recomended this place? I might know them"

[Hotaru]

"You know...I never got their name. By the time I actually thought to ask they were gone...."Hotaru pauses for a second. "A guild you say...you wouldn't happen to be Skye of Teres Calamitas would you?"

[skysu]

She nodded her affirmation with a small confused smile. "How is it you knew of my name?" she asked Hotaru with a small laugh, though her curiousity was still obvious.

[Hotaru]

"I believe I met a friend of yours yesterday, and he told me of you. Leo I think. He said that we had similar pasts so it stuck in my head..."

[skysu]

Her hands clenched benieth the table for a moment. "Ah... Leo, I guess he would know some of my past... and if the similarities are what I believe they are, I am very sorry for your loss." She told her quietly, lowering her head a moment, giving a brief prayer for the souls lost to her, and Hotaru, whoever they were. Tragedy should never be taken alone.

[Hotaru]

A sad smile is fleeting on Hotaru's lips "Thank you. I'm sorry for your losses as well. I apologize if I made you uncomfortable in anyway."
